Subscription FAQs
What is a flower subscription?
A Golden Blooms flower subscription gets you weeks of fresh, locally grown blooms. By purchasing a flower subscription you support our farm during the slower months when costs of purchasing seeds and supplies are high. Subscription customers receive a premium bouquet of seasonal blooms that come every week for the duration of the subscription.
If I don’t purchase a flower subscription, will I be able to purchase flowers during season?
While there is a good chance that there will be flowers available for order or at our flower stand, purchasing a flower subscription share guarantees that you will get the flowers that you want during the busy season. If there are any weather incidents, subscription customers are the top priority to receive blooms. We are a small farm and will do our best to accommodate all the blooms wanted during the busy season.
What if I cant pick up my flowers that week?
If you are unable to pick up flowers one week during the designated pick up times we recommend having a friend or loved one pick them up! Share the flower joy! We are not able to accommodate a different pick up time. If you do not pick up your flowers that week they will be donated to a local nursing home or school.
Can I gift a flower subscription to someone else?
Absolutely! Fill out the information at checkout and provide the recipients name, number, and email.
How long can my flowers be out of water after pick-up?
We recommend no more than 30 minutes in a cool vehicle out of direct sunlight. If there is a chance you may be longer than 30 minutes, bring a cup of water for them during their wait home.
How long should I expect my flowers to last?
Vase life varies significantly between flower varieties. Dahlias for example have a vase life of about 3-5 days on average. While others such as ranunculus and lisianthus can last 12-14 days.
We will email you the best tips and tricks to slow the decaying process for when you bring your flowers home.
